Techmar Smart Switch Plus
Why not add some WOW factor to your Techmar garden light system. Easy to retrofit to existing Techmar systems or build it into your garden lighting plan from the outset.
The switch uses Bluetooth and has a maximum range of 80mtrs with a maximum loading of 150W. The Switch Plus is controlled via the free Garden Lights app on your smartphone or tablet. As with the other Techmar switching devices, it will only control the lights that are connected ahead of it.
Easily set up numerous timer programs or have the Smart Switch set on dusk to dawn switching. You can also manually switch the Smart Switch on with the Techmar Garden Lights app. Use more than one to create zones so you can switch different areas/zones separately. You may want the patio circuit on every night from dusk to 11pm, but the border lighting on at 8pm and off at 10pm for example. The options are limitless.
It cannot be used in conjunction with the timer sensor, remote receiver or motion sensor; you would need to connect each accessory separately with different runs.
The Smart Switch Plus needs to be either wall mounted with the included wall bracket or spike ground mounted (again spike included) Please note that you will possibly need an extension cable to go from the Smart Switch to the transformer as the Smart Switch comes with 5cm of cable.
The App and Smart Switch will get free firmware updates, free for the life of the product.
Resetting the Smart Switch
Step 1 - Verify if the Switch Plus is plugged in. The green indicator light on the Switch Plus should be visible.
Step 2 - Push and hold the reset button for at least six seconds.
Step 3 - Wait a few seconds before releasing the button.
Step 4 - The green indicator light flashes twice after which it stays on permanently. The Switch Plus has been reset to factory settings successfully.
Step 5 - In case you connected the Switch Plus with the app before: remove the Switch Plus from your network (app). Navigate to menu more -> Change product -> click on the Switch Plus and then click remove.
Step 6 - Connect or reconnect the Switch Plus to your network. In the app, navigate to menu more -> Add product, or select New network on the startup screen.

All Techmar Garden Lighting systems from 1st April 2023 come with a 5 year warranty providing a complete Techmar system is installed. Prior to the 1st April the warranty is 3 years for a complete Techmar system.
The only exclusion to this is the Linea 1 fairy light strings, model 7510012-a that have a 1 year warranty. A complete Lightpro system purchased after 1st April 2023 has a 6 year warranty, all complete systems prior to this have a 5 year warranty. Techmar Garden Lights & Lightpro warranties include transformers, Light fittings, cables, switches and LED light sources.
All other Non Techmar and Lightpro products come with a standard 12 month warranty, all garden leisure lines have a 6 months warranty. . Lights are NOT warrantied for use in coastal regions, although plastic based lights will perform well.
Please refer to our T&C's for full warranty information. The warranty will be void on any product that has been modified in any way and all products need to be installed in accordance with the manufacturers instructions.
All warranties cover manufacturing defects and not accidental damage or damage caused by animals
